Skillet on Friday dropped their latest album, “Dominion,” marked with much anticipation from fans across the globe. With their eleventh full-length album now to date, Skillet remains one of the best selling rock bands of the century.

The band continues to rebel against conventions, doubts, expectations, and rules with the intent to uplift in light. Skillet isn’t compromising their integrity. Instead, they’ve traveled their own path to unprecedented heights with an urgent sound, undeniable energy, and unbreakable spirit.

This record is all about the celebration of freedom, a liberation from fear…

John Cooper, Skillet

Over the past several months, Skillet has released a number of pre-release tracks including “Standing In The Storm,” “Refuge,” and the albums title track, “Dominion.”

On the bands social media, lead singer John Cooper shared about the album saying, “This record is all about the celebration of freedom, a liberation from fear – to be who we want to be, say what we want to say, believe what we want to believe.”

Cooper went on to share in part of a brief statement, “In some ways it’s a reminder of the God-given rights that we were born with. It’s time to regain some sort of control over our lives and not be a slave to fear. I hope this record is going to make people feel empowered, inspired, uplifted and want to rock their faces off!”

Skillet is currently headlining the Winter Jam 2022 tour, which kicked off on January 7 in Charleston, WV. More details about the tour can be found at
